This infographic focuses on how SuNMaP, funded by UK aid from DFID, is strengthening Nigeria’s committment to control and, one day, eliminate malaria. SuNMaP is a five year programme (2008 – 2013) that aims to reach ambitious targets in the fight against malaria, against the backdrop of the Millenium Development Goals. SuNMaP is comprised of a group of international and local partners. SuNMaP invests its resources to harmonise partners’ efforts in practical ways at national, state, and local levels. It also strengthens the capacity for policy development, planning and management at various levels. The SuNMaP programme is focused on finding Nigerian solutions, drawing on national and local experience supported by international expertise.
